signageOS introduces the signageOS Research Center - a resource for users of all levels in the digital signage industry to access testing, reporting, and analysis on all major digital signage hardware and software.

The signageOS Research Center provides industry members with a single location to learn about and analyze digital signage hardware across a variety of key performance indicators such as content playback quality, device management, security, and much more. signageOS’ close cooperation with each and every digital signage hardware manufacturer allows for independent and unbiased reporting on practical performance metrics.

The first report published in the signageOS Research Center is a performance analysis on Samsung Tizen 4.0. Using 10 Test Groups consisting of 42 different Test Scenarios the most relevant and frequently applied use cases in digital signage are tested on Tizen 4.0 digital signage displays.   

Further studies and reports will be produced on all relevant performance metrics for the most popular hardware in the digital signage industry.
